In 2007, the Boston Herald reported that Boston guitarist Tom Scholz was responsible for the suicide of late-singer Brad Delp and now, Scholz is suing the paper over the article. In the piece, reporters quoted Delp’s widow Micki as saying that Brad “was driven to despair” because of his professional problems with Tom. Scholz is seeking damages for defamation and emotional distress and claims that Micki never said those things and that the reporters invented quotes in the article. Read more at PlanetRock.com.
