Guns N’ Roses performed a second surprise show in less than a week, this one on Valentine’s Day. The group’s gig took place at the Rose Bar at New York’s Gramercy Park Hotel. Axl Rose and company performed hits like “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door,” “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City” in front of an intimate VIP crowd that included actor Mickey Rourke. Meanwhile, the New York Post reports that at GN’R’s previous surprise show on Thursday, Axl showed up three hours late.
