Interview with Bob Kulick and Brett Chassen from Long Live Rock
Bob Kulick has an impressive pedigree as a guitarist. From his work on tour with Meat Loaf for the Bat Out Of Hell album, to his studio work with KISS (playing many of the parts that fans assumed were Ace Frehley), Kulick has had a long and varied career. For the past few years he has concentrated on producing with his partner Brett Chassen, and they joined us Sunday on Long Live Rock to discuss We Wish You A Metal Christmas. This is one of the funniest interviews we’ve ever gotten to do, you don’t want to miss it! Because of all the compilation projects they have done, these two have the greatest stories about all kinds of people. Some of the highlights are talking about Lemmy keeping Dave Grohl waiting for three hours; Bumblefoot telling them that Axl Rose doesn’t attend his own rehearsals; and Jeb asking Bob Kulick if he could get Ace Frehley to do a Christmas track by just recording it himself and giving Ace the credit!
