We recently reported that Rush drummer Neil Peart is recording a version of “The Hockey Theme,” a song often played on Canada’s The Sports Network. Well now, you can get a sneak peek of the tune and its corresponding video and hear Neil talk about his history with hockey. It’s all part of a clip that played on TSN during the first intermission of last night’s game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the New York Islanders. You can watch that clip now by searching YouTube for “Neil Peart Hockey Theme Sneak Peek.” The entire song will debut on The Sports Network early next year.
